Book Club (Catholic/Christ Centered): If there is any interest in the below themes, we could meet once a month (evening / day) at Ascension for approximately one hour to discuss the material that was previously assigned.

Marriage and Parenting: These groups would meet not only to support each other but to grow in Christ as faithful parents and spouses.
The Love Dare based on the Movie "Fireproof."This would be a group that meets only a few times over the course of 40 days. We would experience the "love dare" by doing the challenges in the book each day for 40 days. The goal is to express love for your spouse in concrete ways which may have not been done for a long time.
A Parent's Guide toTheology of the Body For Teens - Discovering God's Plan For Love And Life. Today, more than ever do we need to understand love through the lens of Christ and express it to our children. There are twelve chapters in this booklet. Since they are short chapters, we could meet no more than six times.
Educational Study Groups. These groups will be focused on enhancing one's understanding in various areas that ultimately will seek to develop a healthy understanding of oneself, one's faith and a deepened sense of love for God.
Introduction to Theology of the Body: by Christpher West. This introduction will cover some of the fundamental messages Blessed Pope John Paul II had on love, humanity and sexuality. This has eight 30 minute session DVD's which would be followed by discussion.
Eat Right, Live Well, Love God: Carol Showalter & Maggie Davis. This program makes the connection of eating and being healthy for the sake of our body being a Temple of God.
Catholic Apologetics: This group would view materials from http://www.apologeticsguidebook.com/general.shtml and choose a source that would of most interest to that group.
